Job Description:
Desired Experience and Credentials:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 5-10 years of experience in preconstruction/construction.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development with demonstrated results.
- Established base of contacts within the construction industry in Southern California.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and develop winning strategies to land business.
- Ability to present a polished and professional image at all times.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify current and future opportunities in Southern California that meet the goals and objectives of the Southern California Division in targeted market sectors.
- Maintain and expand relationships with current and future clients, architects, consultant and other business and community organizations.
- Initiate client follow up on current projects and new leads.
- Direct the assembly of RFQ/RFP proposals and presentations pulling together all personnel, graphics and other requirements to meet established guidelines.
- Develop and maintain a strong community and industry involvement that is directly beneficial to the company.
- Assist division management in the strategic planning and implementation of Southern California�s business plan as a member of the Division Management Team.
