Job Description:
I. Position Purpose
As the Recruiting Manager you are responsible for managing the internal and external recruiting processes and recruiting budgets for staffing WD Partners� corporate office and nationwide regional business units. In this role you will be sourcing candidates, interviewing and presenting recommendations of qualified applicants for technical, managerial, and executive level positions throughout the company. You will be a resource for the management team and associates on recruiting and other HR issues. This position directly manages a team of recruiters and reports to the CPO. This role is an integral part of the HR team on developing and executing tactical plans to support the company strategic goals.

II. Principal Functions and Responsibilties
In addition to following WD Partners values, policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Recruiting (15%)
Direct the efforts of employment agencies and search firms including negotiating and controlling employment related fees
Participate in development of annual recruiting budget with the CPO and CFO
Write job postings for external and internal sourcing, determine appropriate medium for advertisements. Liaison with area employment advertising to coordinate placement
Schedule and attend college recruiting events and job fairs, occasionally, as a source to generate qualified candidates. Maintain professional relationships with educational institutes� placement offices
Review resumes and applications to obtain information from candidates on work history, education, training, and salary requirement and determine if applicant meets the position qualifications
Manage external recruitment efforts and third party vendors to identify and contact qualified candidates
Correspond with job applicants and referrals to notify them of employment opportunities
Coach and counsel internal associates on changes of roles, and career opportunities
Maintain records, employment statistics and data on recruiting activities for compliance and reporting
Manage the internal referral program
Manage relocation program
Partner with Senior Management on executive level recruiting needs and international staffing requirements

Interviewing (25%)
Contact qualified applicants to conduct a personal interview. This may entail an initial phone screening, or an on site interview if phone screen already conducted by external recruiter
Provide information on the company operations, culture, and available position and gather information necessary to determine job fit of the most qualified candidate for the position and organization
Arrange interviews with hiring manager and others to be involved in interview process
Arrange lodging and travel for non-local candidates

Selection (25%)
Assist in determining offer package and making selection recommendations.
Liaison communication between the hiring manager and candidate through the offer and acceptance/decline stage
Conduct background screens, reference checks and gathering other pre-employment information
Participate in the on boarding process for key hires, and relocation if necessary

Strategic Business Partnership (15%)
Communicate with management to identify team/studio staffing needs, job specifications, qualifications and skills requirements
Research, analyze, prepares and present hiring statistics to management staff to aid in developing tactics to support the company�s strategic goals
Develop and provide training to management staff on interviewing techniques
Serve as strategic partner to management by integrating HR strategies into organization's overall mission and operational strategy
Develop and / or review Recruiting "Best Practices"
Participate in the review development and implementation of company practices where HR can serve as consultant and update employment practices and programs on a regular basis
HR Sponsor Regional Office- communicating with office routinely to provide HR support in areas needed- involve appropriate member of HR team on issues as needed

Internal Leadership (10%)
Complete and administer associate review and development plans, when required
Motivate team associates, and create a professional, positive work environment
Develop team in order to optimize retention and performance through ongoing constructive feedback, completing employee reviews on time
Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching and training to team
Participate in team career planning and develop others for the purpose of succession planning. Identify and implement professional development opportunities

III. Travel, environment and typical physical activities
The position may occasionally require daily and/or overnight travel approximately 10% of the time, via airplane or automobile to other WD Regional offices. Other physical activities include utilizing a personal computer and telephone for performing work and communication with associates. Work is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment.

IV. Key Competencies, Experience and Certifications required
Minimum 4 year Bachelor�s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experience
7 -10 years work experience in Recruiting and/or Human Resources
2 - 3 years leadership/supervisory experience
Extensive level of knowledge of Employment Standards
Extensive level of knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
High skill level in interviewing techniques
Basic knowledge of company departments and jobs, as well as organizational structure.
Ability to make recommendations on candidates
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of associates in the organization
Familiar with the issues and current approaches used in the major Human Resource Management functional areas
Ability to maintain and handle confidential information within appropriate standards
Preferred PHR or SPHR
