Construction Executive Job

Job Description:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for managing all aspects of WK Development projects throughout Southern California. Direct reports include a growing staff of two Project Managers, one Construction Estimator and two administrative coordinators.

Responsibilities: - Delivering all projects on time and on budget.
- Supervising, developing and hiring as needed the direct reports.
- Ensuring all WK Development employees are adhering to company standards, expectations and policies.
- Preparing and managing the operating plans, forecasts, and budgets for each property.
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring contract compliance.
- Tracking the monthly budget and preparing detailed budget variance reports for the CEO.
- Reviewing and approving expenditures and invoices.

Requirements:
- A minimum 8-10 years related experience in apartment renovations and/or condo conversion construction. Experience managing renovations of occupied residences is preferred.
- A general contractor�s license is highly desirable.
- Successful track record of managing, mentoring and coaching employees and building a cohesive team.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong financial and budgeting abilities
- Proficiency with the MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to travel 2-3 times per week to properties in Southern California.
- Proven track record of high ethics and integrity in all business dealings.
- Valid California�s Driver�s License and a good driving record.
