Job Description:
The Jackson Health System is an integrated healthcare delivery system consisting of 12 primary care centers; two long-term care nursing facilities, one community hospital, two school-based clinics, seven clinics in the county�s corrections facilities and its centerpiece, Jackson Memorial Hospital.

We are currently looking for a Director of Construction Services to work in our Support Services Department. The incumbent will provide leadership and supervision of in-house and outside construction projects. Ensures their completion on time and within budget, as requested by users, developed by the Facilities Planning Department, and approved by the PHT Board of Trustees. Implements plans to create and manage construction projects to achieve a safe and effective environment for patients, staff members and other individuals, consistent with the hospital�s mission and vision.

The criteria for this position are as follows: Extensive experience in the design, construction and management of building construction projects, including a minimum of eight to ten years experience in project management and direct supervision required. Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, layout and manage project scheduling and budget activities. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building construction is preferred. Current registration as an Architect, Engineer or Licensed General Contractor by the State of Florida is preferred.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
