Job Description:
Architectural Project Manager: This position will require the effective management of a large volume of residential design and construction projects from Schematic Design through Construction Facilitation. Project managers should be highly motivated individuals who can guide clients through the process of designing a custom home while maintaining aggressive production schedules. They will need to manage team members, large amounts of information, and multiple personalities for a variety of projects at different phases of design, fabrication, and field assembly.

Architectural Designers and Draftspeople: The purpose of this position is to assist Project Managers in the timely execution of design drawings and construction documents. Designers should be highly motivated individuals interested in the efficient production of both drawings and the houses that the drawings represent. They should be willing to work with others in the company and utilize every resource available to ensure the accurate and conscientious execution of design and construction drawings.

Structural Engineer: A structural engineer will be responsible for structural design, calculations, and review of drawings and framing techniques for wood framed house packages as well as stamping of details or drawing sets as required. The Structural Engineer should be a highly motivated individual who can collaborate with others to supervise and perform structural calculations and review permit sets for our home packages. They will develop & improve company standards while helping to maintain aggressive project schedules for our clients and the shop.

Architectural Project Managers will be responsible for: Custom design of Early America Style houses and custom homes based in regional vernacular or classical design, Strong understanding of residential framing including floor, wall, and roof systems, building envelope details, foundation systems, and classical design elements and techniques, Collaboration with Operations personnel, Sales personnel, Engineers, Building Officials, and Clients while maintaining tight project schedules, Code research, structural design, building cost analysis, material specifications, historical precedent research, and professional development, Development of new building styles & designs, framing or construction techniques, and materials methods to continually revise & improve our products or processes.

Architectural Designers and Draftspeople will be responsible for: Production and revision of design drawings from existing CAD files or hand drawings into complete Schematic Design, Design Development, or Construction Document Sets, Strong understanding of residential framing including floor, wall, and roof systems, Developing shop drawings for in-house use and construction details for field assembly of our house packages, Developing framing and wall layouts using industry specific software, Consulting and collaboration with Project Managers, Operations personnel, Engineers, and Clients, Maintaining project schedules.

Structural Engineers will be responsible for: Determine loads, perform calculations, size members, and specify connections for wood framed construction homes, Foundation plans and details, Coordination with Design Department and Operations personnel, Structural systems analysis & development of standard factory & field assembly techniques, Code review & compliance, drawing review, and stamping plans or details as required by local jurisdictions, Ongoing research & development into new methods & materials specifications for house packages, Maintain tight project schedules
