Job Description:
Perkowitz+Ruth Architects, recognized as one of the nation's top architectural practices, seeks an Eastern Region Business Development Specialist to coordinate business development and marketing efforts for its Washington D.C.-based office.

Primary responsibilities include:
Devise and implement a strategic business development plan for P+R Architects' Eastern Region.
Attend industry events, programs, conferences and meetings in order to develop potential client relationships.
Create and maintain business contact database for Eastern Region.
Manage and disseminate marketing materials, as well as develop business proposals.
Update corporate headquarters and other regional offices on activities within the Eastern Region Office.
Coordinate annual special event for Eastern Region office clients, professional contacts and potential clients.
Provide up-to-date content on Eastern Region office projects, activities and job openings for corporate web site.
Establish corporate brand and identity in local media and community organizations through advertising and public relations efforts.
Develop client outreach programs by coordinating, scheduling and/or attending special events.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations, with three-five years of experience in a related field. Candidates must have outstanding written and verbal communications skills, with proposal writing experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign.
