Job Description:
ARCON Associates, Inc. an award winning architectural/consulting/construction management firm seeks a Director of Business Development to manage activities in the educational, park and recreation, municipal and commercial markets.
Primary responsibilities include:
� Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities
� Create business opportunities by developing marketing plans, generating and managing leads and building client/industry relationships
� Develop and implement strategies, tactics and actions required to achieve revenue/profit objectives
� Collect and review all data for competitive analysis
� Develop strategic relationships within targeted prospect accounts
� Monitor and analyze opportunities, sales activity, plans and relationships
� Develop and manage potential leads/sales calls
� Develop and manage client maintenance program and monitoring client satisfaction results
� Represent ARCON at trade association meetings/events to promote services
� Self-motivated, analytical skill set, strong presentation skills and ability to interact with various levels within an organization
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing or related field, or a technical Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience in marketing for architectural firms, and excellent writing, editing, grammar, and communication skills, with an emphasis on superior persuasive writing. Candidates should also have impeccable client-facing skills including verbal presentations, be highly organized and a strong team player.
