Job Description:
We are a growing, highly regarded real estate development group located in downtown St. Louis, seeking a self-motivated CFO with strong analytical skills. A degree in accounting and real estate experience are required. Tax knowledge and tax preparation desired.

Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements for construction, development, property management and other business activities.
Maintain accurate permanent files and job cost files; perform reconciliations to General Ledger.
Perform analyses related to real estate investment, development and sale activities.
Prepare draw packages for loan payments.
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Prepares, files all necessary tax documents.
Oversee development of pro-formas, project budgeting, financial forecasts and modeling.
Oversee real estate tax credit programs

Essential Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Thorough knowledge of general ledger operations
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with diverse populations
Problem solver, strategic thinker, team player, detail oriented, well organized
Enthusiastic approach to problem solving
Pragmatic ability to understand problems and propose solutions
Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible accounting experience, with some experience in real estate
