Job Description:
This position is responsible for providing effective leadership and hands on project management to execute the real estate development strategies for Company, advisor to Company. Company owns one of the most distinctive portfolios in the lodging industry with a focus in the luxury and upper-upscale segments. This position requires extensive travel.

Job Duties
-Plans, implements, and manages business objectives for key real estate development opportunities including but not limited to luxury resort residential projects (i.e. villas, condominiums, town homes, etc.)
-Controls development capital budget for specific projects ranging in size from $25 million to $125 million; has bottom line responsibility for profitability of projects
-Expedites and assures project completion according to development capital budget and pro-forma.
-Performs initial financial analysis for real estate development projects; evaluates and provides recommendations for existing real estate development projects and outside development opportunities
-Optimizes profitability through the fulfillment of real estate development projects on time, on budget and to company standards. -Develops and establishes profitable operating models for project management.
-Keeps management informed of any major issues and progress, as appropriate
-Manages information needs between internal groups (portfolio management, legal and finance) and clients or prospective clients.
-Works with Planning, Design & Construction regarding vendor, supplier and contractor relationships
-Keeps current regarding markets and development needs v -Recruits, trains & manages staff as necessary
-Performs any other related duties, as requested Job Requirements
-Strong real estate development management skills with experience in luxury resort residential projects
-Experience managing projects ranging in size from $25 million to over $125 million -Superior project management skills; experience in dealing with high-profile projects with aggressive schedules and budget challenges
-Excellent negotiation skills -Knowledgeable of sales and marketing with respect to real estate
-Thorough familiarity with the requirements of project plans, specifications, and general contracts
-Proven track record of developing, implementing and monitoring development capital budgets
-Strong leadership and management skills -Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision

Education/Experience -5- 10 years experience in real estate development
-Bachelor�s degree in related field required; MBA preferred
-Ideal candidate will have combination of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in real estate development
