Construction Executive Job

Job Description:
MBK currently has an opening in its Operation Department for a Director of Construction. This position will coordinate all work of all trades, including Superintendents and Construction Coordinator to ensure that work is consistent with MBK business plan.

Specific responsibilities include: Deliver High Eliant scores for all Construction related items
Responsible for Year-End Deliveries
Deliver homes on or before monthly targets as outlined in business plan
Responsible and accountable for keeping Indirect costs within budget
Accountable for SWPP plan, updates and passing inspections at every project
Accountable for Quality Control and serve on Quality Assurance Team
Develop and maintain Safety Program and Standards
Oversee all duties essential and non-essential, performed by the field staff
Have metrics to measure performance of General, Project, and assistant Superintendents. Must be able to measure each project and rank performance
Responsible to Develop and maintain consistency among field staff by providing leadership, training, measurement and support
Accountable for passing OSHA inspections
Attend management meetings
Perform all related duties as assigned
The qualified candidate will have:

6 years experience as a Project Superintendent
Knowledge of residential construction codes and ability to use UBC, UPC, UMC, and NEC
Computer skills � JD Edwards a plus
Special attention to detail and quality assurance
Construction project organization required
Reading all residential construction plans and documents
Certified OSHA Safety, CPR, and SWPP�s
