Construction Executive Job Location:Nashville, Kansas City, Atlanta and Montreal
Estimated Cash Compensation: 100,000-125,000 plus bonus

Reports to: Director of Project Engineering - CTS
Travel Requirement: 50 %
Position Summary:
- Provide engineering services of a high standard as well as state-of-the-art technical know-how for major capitalized projects, including alternative fuels and projects alternative raw materials.
- Exploit latest proven technologies in the cement manufacturing industry to enhance project results.
- Provide industry-specific, up-to-date experience, so that the entire Lafarge group may benefit from networked know-how.
- When required, assume overall budget, schedule, and technical responsibility for projects or sub-projects in the range of $20 million capital value.
- Guide advise, and support project engineers and project managers in technical areas.
Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a cement or heavy industry.
- Experience in project engineering and design, in contract administration, in depth knowledge of cement manufacturing equipment, in construction site, in purchasing process and scheduling.
- Experience with alternate fuels and materials will be highly desired
- Good communication skills written and spoken in English, French would be an asset
