Job Description:
Generates new business through project leads and client relations. Identifies, develops and pursues potential client opportunities. Expands client base as well as maintaining existing client base.
Duties:
-Accountable for focusing on generating new business leads for TCA in primarily medium to large size accounts.
-Gains membership in the Los Angeles building industry associations.
-Involved in government relations.
-Explore markets for TCA and sets up meeting with key consultants/clients in those areas to get an inside look into the market.
-Head's up efforts on selecting and responding to RFP's and RFQ's
-Distributes marketing brochures/press kits to potential clients.
-Sets up business meetings/luncheons with principals and potential clients. Displays effective rapport-building and relationship management skills. Will frequently deal with senior management within the client's organization.
-Works with Marketing Manager to update mailing lists for direct mail pieces, invite events, golf tournament and open houses.
Job Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Business or Architectural-related field.
-Familiarity with the Building Industry and architecture terminology.
-Good organizational skills.
-Strong communications and written skills.
-Proficient in Excel, Word, and electronic communications.
Ability to multi-task, work independently and maintain a flexible schedule.
