Job Description:
Privately held, regional Mechanical Contractor (HVAC and Plumbing contractor) seeks president to oversee its total mechanical construction (installation) and mechanical services operation in Pennsylvania. The firm has 5 unique business centers that each delivers a unique service. Project delivery includes in-house, design-build services, as well as negotiated bid (plan & spec) work. Typical projects include all types of commercial and residential buildings, including schools, banks, offices, libraries, medical facilities, apartments and luxury homes. This non-union contractor has been in operation over 75 years, maintains a great reputation and is profitable. The firm has a solid mid-management team but seeks new leadership to take it to the next level. Because we seek an experienced construction business leader to manage all 5 business centers, we are open to someone who may not have mechanical construction background but is a solid business professional from either commercial or residential construction (either a specialty or general contractor, or from a mechanical service company). Candidates should have 10 years or more as a divisional manager, operations officer or president of a commercial or residential building contractor (general or specialty contractor), or mechanical services company. They must also have a stable job history, good business and management skills, and exceptional client/people skills. Compensation is exceptional. We will relocate someone from anywhere in the USA.
